STRICTLY CORVETE Show in Atlantic City was an adventure for sure! We started out from Stroudsburg & followed John over the secondary roads with beautiful blue skies over head!! With only one itsy bitsy missed turn we arrived in AC and the cars did fine!! Rick had the opportunity to find out what little things need attention on the 1971 as this was the farthest it had ever been driven.. but all in all a good drive!!
We checked into the Sheraton, got the Vettes parked in the huge Convention Center, registered & the clean up began. Only to find that they were there only to Look FABULOUS.. not being judged. A bit disappointing for John & Rick. The cars showed very well and both had alot of interest from other car enthusiasts.
We met some fun new people, BAT MAN was there too, got a visit from a few old friends and have a prospective new member... think about how far we must go just to meet someone from our area!
We ate well, laughed & even had a few drinks over the 3 days. Walked alot, got wet, almost blown into the ocean, a few dollars gambled but none lost!!
Our drive home went well until we almost ran out of gas & John's lights wouldn't open but all arrived safely home again. Someone is watching over us.
